As Stev stated so well, I've missed the comaraderie that a lot of us shared in the days long before e-mail and the internet. I think The Nest is a great way to get to know everyone in a way not possible by just reading mission entries. Don't get me wrong, everyone in SS3F are ultra-talented writers, but it's nice getting to meet the folks behind the characters. I look forward to getting to know each of you better as we continue our journeys aboard the Phoenix together!

Just found out this week that a redemption center in the next town over has shut its doors for good. Spent the majority of the week so far setting up new accounts and counting more cans than I did at this point last year. Haven't had time to visit, write, or do much anything other than counting cans. Continue

Adrienne and I have a story arc planned out for Stev and T'Aiya.

I've kind of set up that most Vulcans have an adversarial reaction to him.

Commander Seabrook and Stev seem to have a Riggs-Martough relationship going.

During the beginning of a new mission we used to ask for S&Os (Speculations and Opinions). Is this something we should start up again on new missions. It seemed to help some crewmates to get some ideas on where to go with their mission story that they never thought of. So, what say ye? Continue

One of the things I fondly remeber from my time in 3F in the early 90's was the constant flow of letters and story suggestions back and forth between members.

I enjoy the writing but miss the pen pals. This site is an attempt to recapture the pen pal nature of the "old group".
